Receptive Ecumenism—Listening, Learning and Loving in the Way of Christ is a response to the growing recognition of Receptive Ecumenism as a concept and process that has the potential to bring about the greater flourishing of the Church, both within denominations and across the Church universal.
Rev Dr Vicky Balabanski is Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies at Flinders University of South Australia
and is ordained in the Uniting Church in Australia.
Geraldine Hawkes is the Ecumenical Facilitator with the South Australian Council of Churches and
Executive Secretary for Leaders of Christian Churches South Australia.

Its significance, however, lies in the way it invites us to engage all of our senses in the practical reception of gifts each tradition has to offer.
