This volume honours the significant theological and pastoral contributions of Campion Murray OFM to Yarra Theological Union. Using ‘Wisdom for Life’ as the organising theme, it draws on scholars from a variety of theological disciplines to offer perspectives drawn from scripture, history and tradition, as well as the church and academy. The essays are designed to encourage readers to become more critically reflective as they engage with biblical texts and contemporary concerns. The authors of the various chapters invite us to see wisdom, not merely as the accumulation of knowledge, but as an active process of ongoing engagement and dialogue that leads us to the acquisition of ’Wisdom for Life’.
